Standard quotas versus Hardcore wipes.

Crime Simulator game modes on Steam Criminal Simulator (CookieDev, App 2737070) change the clock, the loot reset, and what a failed Crime Simulator quota deletes. This page is Standard / Hardcore / Completionist / Endless plus Casual–Master difficulty. It is not Roblox Criminal Simulator and it has no codes tab. Verified October 29, 2026 · Steam.
Criminal Simulator still uses the same heist loop in every mode: pick a job, steal, extract, sell, pay the bill. Modes only change which hammer falls when you miss that bill.

Open Standard. That is the roguelite the store page sells, and it is the only Crime Simulator game modes row this wiki assumes for the first night of Criminal Simulator. Hardcore, Completionist, and Endless exist so later saves can change the clock — they are not a faster tutorial.

| Mode | Use it when | Skip it when |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Learning jobs, quota, hideout, skills | Never for save one |
| Hardcore | You already clear Master quotas on Standard | First night; a fail can reset growth |
| Completionist | You want every house, job, and loot set | You still panic on extract |
| Endless | Farming after you understand a Standard death | You have not paid a quota yet |
Standard still bills you every three in-game days. Fail the bill and the run content resets while hideout furniture usually stays. That split is why the beginner guide tells you to buy a bed before fancy tools. Difficulty sits on top of Standard: Casual through Master. Hardcore does not let you pick Casual.
If you want the Hardcore score multiplier, create a second file after two quiet Standard houses are automatic. Do not overwrite the save that already owns furniture. Mode chosen, the next Crime Simulator question is the quota HUD itself.
The Crime Simulator quota is a three-day bill, not a single heist. Sell enough loot, jobs, and item requests before the day counter hits zero. Community recaps put the first Standard bill at $500. Early-session HUDs sometimes show a different number (one recap session displayed $1,000 with three days left) — treat any figure that is not on your screen as Unverified.

| HUD signal | Action |
|---|---|
| Days remaining + dollar target | That pair is the only quota that matters this run |
| Truck already covers the remaining bill | Sell, then finalize — do not farm until dawn |
| Red control next to the lever (recap) | Use it once the required quota is reached to close the assignment |
| Computer unlocks extra sites after a pay | Check store / jobs before the next house |
| Jobs website timer | Accepted jobs have their own clock — do not stack two tight timers on day one |
| Item requests | Bonus if you already hold the object; junk still sells for quota |
Players mix two hammers. Death to a guard or cop in Standard drops equipped tools and loot still sitting unsold in the truck. Quota fail ends the run’s map state. Hideout furniture, player level, spent Crime Simulator skills, and stored cash usually survive Standard death. Hardcore uses a heavier quota-fail hammer.
| Event | Standard | Hardcore |
|---|---|---|
| Death to guards / cops | Tools + truck loot gone; hideout / level / skills / stored cash kept | Treat as harsher — confirm HUD; do not test on save one |
| Failed quota | Run content resets; hideout upgrades usually stay | Can reset level and money; larger progress slice |
| Successful quota | Higher next bill; computer sites can unlock | Same loop under Master NPC rules |
| World rewards | Unlock after finished or failed runs (recap) | Same bucket, worse cost of a fail |
| Golden Cards | May consume on fail or finish — Unverified | Worse sole plan; see cards page |
Some recaps show a respawn stipend (one session claimed about $1,000 on reload). Treat that as an exploit-shaped quirk, not a Crime Simulator game modes strategy. The intended loop is loot → sell → furniture. If you die, you should still own the bed you bought — that is the lesson.
A quota fail is also how neighborhoods restock. If you only farm one starter house for four days, it goes empty because big furniture loot is largely per-run. Fail or finish, then the map can roll again. Endless recaps reset loot daily instead — that is why Endless exists. Hardcore is the mode that makes that restock expensive.
Open Hardcore when you already clear Master quotas on Standard without panic extracts. The mode locks difficulty to Master: highest NPC awareness, fastest cops, armed threats, better loot odds. The score multiplier is the prize. The failed-quota wipe on level and money is the cost.
You cannot drop Casual to learn a Hardcore file. If a Master house already dumps your Standard truck, Hardcore will dump the save. Stay on Standard until lockpicking, extract timing, and hideout beds are boring. Then duplicate the habit on a second file — do not convert the furniture save.
It is still Steam Crime Simulator by CookieDev. There is still no Roblox codes menu. Skills still need a leaflet plus a point. Tools still drop on death. The hideout still outranks Golden Cards because furniture is the upgrade a Standard death does not steal — Hardcore just makes a quota miss more expensive. Completionist and Endless answer different questions than “can I survive Master.”
Both modes change the clock. Neither is a beginner Crime Simulator game modes pick. Completionist is a collection run. Endless is a farm run. Confusing them is how people expect daily restocks on a Standard save that has already stripped the street.
| Rule | Completionist | Endless |
|---|---|---|
| Classic day cap | No traditional time limit (recap) | No fixed day cap (recap) |
| Quota | Rises as you keep running | Relatively static quotas |
| Goal | Clear all locations, jobs, loot sets | Repeat areas; loot resets daily (recap) |
| Score | Completion speed affects score | Farm / test kit, not a checklist score |
| World rewards | Earn them in the run | Recap: unlocked from the start |
| Skip when | You still miss extract timing | You have not seen a Standard death |
Recaps: there is no classic timer, but the quota still climbs, and finishing faster still scores. Use it when you already know every lock type on tools and you want every house, not when you are still learning Rural Street. Speed without extract discipline just makes a clean checklist into a loud one.
Recaps: loot resets daily, quotas stay comparatively flat, and world-level rewards start unlocked. That is the farm sandbox after you understand what Standard death deletes. It is not a way to skip the first $500 bill on save one. Difficulty on top of these modes still matters — Master loot odds are wasted if you cannot leave the block.
Difficulty is not a fifth Crime Simulator game modes row. It sits on Standard (and on any mode that lets you pick it). Hardcore skips the picker and locks Master. Use Casual or Normal until quota 1 is routine. Pro and Master buy loot odds with NPC threat.
| Difficulty | NPC / cops | Loot (recap) | Use it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casual | Lower sight/hearing; delayed police; fewer armed NPCs | Lower high-value odds | First nights, testing a new lock type |
| Normal | Balanced awareness and response | Mid loot odds | Default teacher after one paid quota |
| Pro | Higher alert; faster cops; most NPCs armed | Better loot odds | Money after you extract clean on Normal |
| Master | Highest threat; very fast cops | Best loot odds | Hardcore prep; never hour one |
A small residential house on Casual still sells TVs, PCs, and jewelry. Master is how people lose a truck of tools they cannot yet replace. Raise difficulty after the hideout has a bed and an inventory piece, not because a tier list said Master is “optimal.”
Four players make more noise, not less. On Pro/Master, assign one person to cameras and one to the truck. Difficulty chosen, scan the mode mistakes below before you queue Hardcore because a friend dared you.
Each line is a Standard wipe, a wasted night, or a Hardcore file you should not have opened. This is not a skill-issue essay.
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
| First file = Hardcore | Standard + Casual/Normal until quota 1 is boring |
| Treating quota as one house | Three-day bill; rotate addresses when rooms strip |
| Selling without finalizing | Use the recap red control once the HUD is covered |
| Staying until dawn with the bill paid | Extract; later bills climb anyway |
| Endless on night one to “skip unlocks” | Learn Standard death first; Endless is a farm |
| Completionist before extract skill | Checklist mode still punishes a loud truck |
| Buying tools before hideout after a scare | Hideout survives Standard death; tools often do not |
| Raising Master to pay quota 1 faster | Casual loot pays $500; Master pays cops |
| Death-farming stipend cash | Quirk, not a plan |
| Searching Roblox mode codes | Steam Crime Simulator has no codes tab |
Read the quota HUD, pick a house you can enter quietly, leave when the truck covers the number, finalize, buy furniture. Every Crime Simulator game modes variant is that sentence with a different reset rule.
Practice the first-hour extract on the Crime Simulator beginner guide. Bank the upgrades death does not steal on hideout. Then spend a leaflet on skills and match kit on tools. Card wipe rules sit on Golden Cards.
Standard, Hardcore, Completionist, and Endless. Difficulty Casual / Normal / Pro / Master sits on modes that allow it. Hardcore locks Master.
Community recaps put quota 1 at $500 every three in-game days. Confirm the HUD — some sessions show a different first bill.
Steam guide recap: world-level rewards start unlocked in Endless. Standard still earns them after finished or failed runs.
Equipped tools and unsold truck loot. Hideout, level, skills, and stored cash stay. Quota fail is a different hammer.
Recaps: a failed quota can reset level and money, not just the current run. Keep Hardcore on a second save.
